Nike: Athleisure wear

If you follow my blog, you may have guessed  that my son is OBSESSED with sports.  He loves to play it, follow it, watch it and read about it. Much to my chagrin, he also likes to wear clothes as if he is ready for a game to bust out at any time. Me, I prefer he wears ” normal” clothes.  Luckily, athleisure (a combo of athletic and everyday clothes) wear is very easily accessible and very on trend right now. He looks nice and put together, but at the same time, he really is still in his sports clothes.

One of our most favorite brand is Nike. Nike is an athletic brand that gets it when it comes to trends. They not only provide function, but fashion too.  I really like that Nike provides the best of both worlds for me and my son.  C is very active, so it’s very important to me that the products are also very well made.  My son puts his through the wringer and it never fails us day to night. I also wash it A LOT and it always maintains its shape and fit.

Can we talk about his sneakers for a second? The minute he saw these he wanted them…and so did I!   I am not normally one for basketball shoes, but these are different. They just look beyond cool. They are the Nike LeBron Soldier 10. It is easy to put on, they are very comfortable (C says they make him faster…tee hee hee), they go with both his sports clothes and his regular clothes and…..the best part is that there are no laces to tie! YAAAY!   I don’t know about you, but I swear my son’s other sneakers (or any shoe with a lace, for that matter) just untie themselves for sh&ts and giggles.  I am constantly telling him to tie his shoes.   Love these sneakers.
